I am now able to see/use the printer and scanner, and the Scanner shows up in "Fax and Scan" and I can use it in the Windows Scan app (download for free on the Windows store). I choose the higher version number and it worked! If you haven't installed a Windows driver for this scanner, VueScan will automatically install a driver. If you're using Windows and you've installed a Epson driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this.
